Upgrade WIMAX green packet DV235 and changing MAC ADDRESS for smart and globe

This is the complete tutorial in How to Upgrade and change MAC on WiMax Green Packet DV325 4G Modem.

• DOWNLOAD  FIRMWARE
• Remove .ZIP  File DONT UNZIP
• Go to TOOLS>FOLDER OPTION>VIEW Then uncheck HIDE EXTENSION.
• Open Firefox go to 192.168.15.1 LOGIN DETAILS User/Pass: smart
• Go to MANAGEMENT>UPGRADE>CLICK BROWSE 
• Point to the firmware you download in step 1(See ATTACHMENT Below) 

• AFTER MAG REBOOT LOGIN again.
• Then go to MANAGEMENT>Recovery click factory default

• AFTER REBOOT GUI change to 10.1.1.254  
• ACCESS GUI User/Pass: admin

How to change MAC in DV235

• click start > run >type telnet 10.1.1.254 enter 
• login: admin <enter>
• password: admin <enter> Just continue typing
• type:enable <enter>
• type:router <enter>
• type:wan mac <your new mac address ex: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX> <enter>
• type: commit <enter>
• type: exit <enter> 
• type: reboot <enter>

• After reboot open GUI 10.1.1.254 then login 
• go to wimax>scanner then click edit then insert to add frequency then click apply

• After you add FREQUENCY>CLICK APPLY THEN CLICK>AUTHENTICATION

IDENTITY = MAC@GLOBELINES.COM.PH (DOMAIN NAME) Remove COLON of MAC ANG MAY CHECK LANG PO SA OPTION AY AUTO PREPEND AUTH MODE AND IGNORE CERT VERIFICATION SEE ATTACHMENT below:

Tips:
RIGHT CLICK TEXTBOX of USERNAME the inspect element
Find MAXLENGHT=32 AND CHANGE IT TO 50 OR 100
THEN ADD .ph in USERNAME>TO SEE IF OK NA THEN CLICK APPLY

Just use SMARTBRO.NET as DOMAIN NAME
